Back in the mid to late seventies my then fiancé and I used to visit a little restaurant in Pasadena CA named either “The Aquarian” or “The Loaf and Ladle,” can’t remember which. There we found a very friendly person playing the upright piano who played very well. So we struck up conversation with him and he played a few requests for us. Whenever we were going to that part of town we made an effort to drop by to hear him play.
